My Story
My name is Jeremy Johnson. I'm originally from Arkansas and grew up in Central Texas. I began my photography journey about 7 years ago as a hobbyist, shooting cityscapes and landscapes around town or while traveling. Occasionally, I would shoot friends and family. Seeing their reactions to the results motivated me to get more into portrait photography. I moved to Austin in 2015. After meeting so many talented photographers and creatives, I was inspired to become a professional photographer. I shot at live music events, local bars, and even corporate events. After a few years of honing my skills, the pandemic hit, delaying my plans. In June of 2023, JLJ Visions LLC was born. Currently serving clients in Austin and surrounding areas with services ranging from portraits, headshots, lifestyle, branding, and small events.
My Style
I've always had an appreciation for the art of storytelling through photos. I love capturing emotion and creating timeless images by using various lighting techniques. I enjoy building rapport with clients to provide a fun, engaging, and easy going photography experience. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and forget about any insecurities you may have with taking pictures to capture the true essence of your individuality. I understand that clients' needs and budgets differ, so my services are reasonably flexible.
